Mosaics are made up of small shapes that fit together to form beautiful, aesthetic patterns. These colours are inspired by when clouds clear away, the sun comes out and you’re treated to a beautiful blue sky, hence the name… Azura!

Gill Prendergast is a designer maker from North Wales. She makes fun, bright and whimsical textile art and sculptures, with the natural world as her inspiration.
She has a background in large-scale prop making for theatre and now utilises those skills for projects such as Wild in Art Sculpture trails.

In October 2024 all 40 large penguins and one chick will be auctioned to raise funds for the care provided by St Richard’s Hospice.
In 2021, 31 stunning elephant sculptures raised a mammoth £368,800 to support the care provided by St Richard’s Hospice across Worcestershire.
