Description

Perdiswell is where the first Wishing Well Nursery opened in 1994. Perdy the Penguin is wearing the uniform of the nursery with a celebration 30th birthday badge. On his back is a design exploring the changes in the landscape of the area, from Perdiswell Hall with its grand entrance pillars, through its use as an airfield and home of the famous Worcester Spitfire. Also featured are the Nissen huts used to start Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Club. The land now houses schools, sports clubs as well as being home for Wishing Well Nursery, a family-run nursery still going strong.
